You might guess by the look of the word ‘Interkultur’, it derives from somewhere in Europe. And you would be right.
It’s an international choir competition, and it coming to Hull at the end of April 2023, and we will be competing along with 30 or so other choirs.
Should be an exciting event, and we’re rehearsing 3 songs to be included in our entry. These are ‘You don’t know me’, a 50’s classic, ‘The Luckiest Sailor’, a locally written song about the Triple Trawler Tragedy of the 60’s, and ‘When you’re an Addams’ from the Addams family hit musical.
